Our administrative costs are fully funded by the Province of Nova Scotia. This means your gift supports the work itself: helping people experiencing homelessness, piloting new programs, and finding better ways to deliver services that meet our community’s needs.

While we previously accepted and distributed these items, this is no longer a service we offer.
Your items may still be useful to another organization. The options below can help you find a new home for them.

Accepts gently used clothing, shoes, housewares, home décor, small kitchen appliances, books and furniture.
For furniture or a large donation, email the store before bringing your items.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Annapolis Valley | Clothing donation bins
Clothing and textile donations help raise funds for local mentoring programs. Their donation bins accept clothing, shoes, towels, sheets and other cloth materials.
Housewares and other eligible items should be taken directly to the New Minas Value Village Community Donation Centre.
Value Village Community Donation Centre | New Minas
Accepts clothing, shoes, housewares, bedding, small appliances, books, toys and small furniture. Donations through this location help generate funding for Big Brothers Big Sisters programs.

Before you donate
Please check directly with the receiving organization before making a trip, particularly for furniture or large quantities. Accepted items, available space and donation hours can change.
Items should be clean, dry and in usable condition. Please only leave donations in designated locations during approved donation hours.
